The video was put on by the WATERisLIFE organization to bring attention to this very worthy cause, The group provides clean drinking water, sanitation and WASH education programs to schools and villages in developing countries.
WATER is LIFE’s efforts have paid off for these struggling areas. Needed daylight hours have been restored each day, allowing women to use their time to learn a trade, start a business and receive an income. Children can receive an education. Clean water will reduce sickness by almost a third. It saves and transforms lives, and communities in unimaginable and far-reaching ways.
By taking the attention off ourselves and what we free Americans deem “problems”, our hearts, minds, time, and effort become open to helping others. Ultimately, the world as a whole is improved when we don’t put ourselves at the center of it. Help spread this message and bring attention to this cause.
